Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 schedule (beginning Sept 8)

Combo 2-3

Ballet and Tap combo for 30 minutes once a week.  Dancers must be 3 by May 2026, to join the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 program.

Dress Code:

Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, black tap shoes (velcro or slip-on), skirts are optional.  Please write your dancer's name in everything. 

Boys: White shirt, black shorts, white or black socks, black ballet slippers and black oxford style tap shoes.

kinder Combo

Kinder combo classes are 60 minutes once a week and combine ballet, tap and jazz technique.  Dancers should be 6 by May 2026, to join the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 program.  

Dress Code:

Girls: Black leotard with a skirt, dance shorts, lettings or tights.  If your dancer chooses not to wear tights, please send them with this socks so their feet do not blister.  Dancers will need pink leather ballet slippers, black tap shoes (velcro or slip-on) and TAN slip on jazz shoes.

pre-competition

MUST BE EVALUATED TO JOIN THIS CLASS.  This class is 105 minutes of ballet, tap and jazz technique and is designed to gather and teach dancers interested in taking dance to the next level.  This class is for 4-6 year olds interested in auditioning for our competition team next summer (June 2026).  Choreography and instruction will be more difficult than our recreational classes of that same age. 

Dress Code:

Ballet is the most beneficial class a dancer can take, no matter their age or experience.  All ballet classes focus on classical technique at the barre, centre and across the floor.  In addition and strengthening, ballet students learn classical and contemporary ballet choreography.  Discipline and focus are both very important in ballet class and are expected of all ages. 

Dress Code:

Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, hair must be in a bun and a ballet skirt is optional. 

Boys: White shirt, black shorts, white or black socks and black ballet slippers.

jazz & MUSICAL THEATRE

Jazz dance has evolved from the classical technique of ballet but is expressed through more upbeat music and quicker movements.  The style and feel of the music determines the style of the choreography.  Our jazz classes' movement rages from Broadway jazz to contemporary jazz and to the latest jazz funk.  

Dress Code:

Girls: Leotard, tank or bra-top, dance shorts, leggings or tights. No baggy shorts or shirts and TAN jazz shoes

Boys: White shirt, black shorts, white or black socks and black jazz shoes

Tap

Tap dance is a style of dance in which a dancer wearing shoes fitted with heel and toe taps sounds out audible beats by rhythmically striking the floor or any other hard surface.  Tap dance as it is known today did not emerge until roughly the 1920s, when “taps,” became popular. It has continued to evolved over time from Vaudeville and Broadway to Step and Rhythmic tap of today.

Dress Code:

Girls: Leotard with shorts or leggings and a tank or shirt and BLACK tap shoes

Boys: White shirt, black shorts, white or black socks and black tap shoes

lyrical

Lyrical is a dance form which combines techniques and skills from ballet, jazz and modern.  Students will learn how lyrical dance emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract.  

Dress Code:

Girls: Leotard, tank or bra-top, dance shorts, leggings and skin color lyrical shoes. No tights, baggy shorts or shirts.

Boys: White shirt, black shorts, skin color lyrical shoes

hip hop

Hip Hop is a free style of dancing with complete arm and footwork that mimics the classic street-style hip hop that originated in New York City.  There are many different styles of hip hop include popping, locking, krumping, breakdancing, breaking, house, waacking and dance hall to name a few.

Dress Code:

Girls & Boys: Tank top or short sleeve shirt, sweat pants or shorts, tennis/athletic shoes

2025 Tuition and Registration rates

Due at the time of Registration:

$75 Registration fee

$80 Holiday Show Theatre Fee (not for Combo 2-3 classes)

$40 Holiday Show Costume Rental fee


Due starting in September:

$95/month for 30 minute classes

$100/month for 45-60 minute classes

$120/month for 75 minute classes

$140/month for 90 minute classes


Discounts:

$5 monthly sibling discount

$325 monthly tuition cap for 4-7 hours of weekly dance

$350 monthly tuition cap for 7.25+ hours of weekly dance

5% discount for annual payers (due the first week of dance)


Registration Fee

When you register for a fall class, the annual registration fee will be charged to your card on file. Registration fees are $75 for one dancer and $50 for each additional dancer.


Holiday Show 2025

Our annual Holiday Show, Making Spirits Bright, will be Saturday December 6th, 2025 at SMU McFarlin Auditorium.  All classes participate in a holiday show.  The $40 holiday show costume rental fee and $80 theatre rental fee will be charged to your card on file at the time of registration.  NOTE: All Combo 2-3 classes Holiday Show will be at the studio the week of Dec 8 - 11, 2025 during their class time and will NOT pay the $80 theatre fee.  


Back to Back Classes

If your dancer wants to take more than one class, try to select ones that are back to back as those will always be assigned to the same recital.  If your dancer chooses two classes on different days, we can't guarantee those will perform in the same show.
